VATHA SURA KUDINEER CHOORANAM;
Vatha Sura Kudineer is one of the best natural medicine for improving immunity. Siddha medicine is one of the oldest Indian systems of medicine and commonly practiced in India.
ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;
Plumbaga zeylanica - used in the treatment of stubborn chronic rheumatoid arthritis, skin diseases and tumerous growths as recommended by Ayurveda. It also finds its use in correcting chronic menstrual disorders, viral warts and chronic diseases of nervous system.
Andrographis paniculata - Fever, colic pain, loss of appetite, irregular stools and diarrhea, common cold, cough, fever, hepatitis, tuberculosis, mouth ulcers, bronchitis gastro-intestinal disorder and sores.
Caesalpinia crista shows anthelmintic activity, anti-amyloidogenic activity, immunomodulatory, analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, antitumor, antioxidant activity, antidiabetic and hypoglycemic activity, and also used as nootropic or memory enhancer.
Pavonia odorata - is an indigenous medicinal plant of India that is frequently used in Ayurvedic system of medicine as a cooling, diaphoretic, diuretic, and demulcent. In combination with others, it is prescribed as an astringent and tonic for fever, inflammation and haem- orrhage.
Tragia involucrate - leaf has been traditionally used to treat inflammation, wounds, eczema, scabies and skin infections. It has also been found to be effective in treating pain and bronchitis
Evolvulus alsinoides - is used in form of decoction in nervous debility and loss of memory. The plant is also useful as blood purifier and in bleeding piles. The fresh flowers with sugar are eaten as a brain tonic. The leaves are made into cigarettes and smoked in chronic bronchitis and asthma.
Anethum sowa - act as a carminative for the treatment of flatulence, colic and hiccups of infants and children, antioxidant, antimicrobial and antispasmodic agent
Saussurea lappa roots have been widely used in chronic gastritis, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma and bronchitis in traditional medicine and in inflammation-related diseases
Crataeva religiosa - are Immunity , Restless leg syndrome , Weight Loss , astringent , cholagogue , Strengthens Bones , Urination and Excretion, Lower Risk of Heart Problems , Proper Growth , Antiemetic , antidote in snakebite , improves digestion , increases apetite and biliary secretion.
Butea monosperma is widely used in ayurveda, unani and homeopathic medicine. Flowers are astringent to bowel, in heal “Kapha”, leprosy, strangury, gout, skin diseases, thirst sensation; flower juice is used to treat eye diseases.
Azima tetracantha - is considered diuretic and is also used to treat dropsy, dyspepsia, chronic diarrhoea and as a stimulant tonic. In western India juice of the leaves is applied as eardrops against earache and crushed leaves are placed on painful teeth.
Solanum xanthocarpum - has been used for treatment of many infectious and degenerative diseases in traditional medicine. Present study reports the medicinal efficacy of S. xanthocarpum fruit as antioxidant, anticancer and anti HIV agents.
Enicostemma littorale - acts as a laxative, helps in curing fever, rheumatism, skin diseases, abdominal disorders, snake bite, obesity and helps to regulate blood sugar levels.
Zingiber officinale - is one of the most widely used natural products consumed as a spice and medicine for treating nausea, dysentery, heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea, loss of appetite, infections, cough, and bronchitis.
Piper nigrum - is used traditionally for the treatment of various diseases including; cough, cold, dyspnea throat diseases, intermittent fever, dysentery, stomachache, worms and piles.
Piper longum - is most commonly used to treat chronic bronchitis, asthma, constipation, gonorrhea, paralysis of the tongue, diarrhea, cholera, chronic malaria, viral hepatitis, respiratory infections, stomachache, bronchitis, diseases of the spleen, cough, and tumors.

INDICATIONS;
It is useful for Vali Suram[ fevers due to Vadha disorders], It is used to treat Natukku Vadham [ fever with rigor]
DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;
Add 5gm of powder to 300ml water and boil until the water quantity reduces to 30ml. Advised to take before food consumption twice daily or directed by the physician. No other dietary restrictions
