Nothi thailam is a classical Siddha herbal medicine, it is used to Cough with Expectoration, Body Ache, Tuberculosis.
Role of Ingredients;
Vitex negundo - anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antinociceptive, anti-ulcer, free radicals scavenging, hepatoprotective, and many more.
Eclipta alba - use it commonly for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, respiratory tract disorders (including asthma), fever, hair loss and graying of hair, liver disorders.
Azima Tetracantha - used in the treatment of rheumatism, dropsy and stomach ;
Trianthema pentandra - is used as an astringent in abdominal ;
Pavonia odorata - as a cooling, diaphoretic, diuretic, and is prescribed as an astringent and tonic for fever, inflammation, and hemorrhage.
Heliotropium Indicum - is used as an analgesic to ease rheumatic pain, as a diuretic, and to treat numerous skin problems including yaws, urticaria, scabies, ulcers, eczema, and impetigo.
Solanum trilobatum - is a widely used plant in the Indian indigenous systems of medicine. It is mainly used in the treatment of respiratory diseases like bronchial asthma.
Sesamum indicum - is mildly laxative, emollient, and demulcent. The seeds and fresh leaves may be used as a ;

Directions for Usage;
For both internal and external uses. 1-2 spoons should be taken with hot water twice daily morning and evening. It can be applied externally on the head and chest to relieve congestion. It can be applied to the affected area to relieve pain.
