MATHAN THAILAM;

Mathan Thailam is a Classical Siddha medicine. The classical evidence of this medicine is available in Siddha classical textbook Gunapadam Thathu Jeeva ; it is used to treat all types of wound and ulcers.

ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;

Datura mental - are analgesic, anthelmintic, and anti-inflammatory, and as such, they are used in the treatment of stomach and intestinal pain that results from worm infestation, toothache, and fever from inflammation. The juice of its fruit is applied to the scalp, to treat dandruff and falling ;

Cocos nucifera - can encourage your body to burn fat, and they provide quick energy to your body and brain. They also raise HDL (good) cholesterol in your blood, which may help reduce heart disease risk 

Copper sulfate - is used to treat wounds, ulcers, and fungal infections medical practice as a locally applied fungicide, bactericide, and astringent

It is useful for Padai  [eczema],

It is useful for Sori [Itch],

It is useful for Viranangal [ ulcers],

It is useful for Kasiyum Padaigal [ Weeping eczema],

It is useful for Veddippu [ fissure],

It is useful for Ozhugum Viranangal, Oonvalarthal [ Putrified  ulcers],

Used also in earache accompanied by discharge, of pus [ Kadhu Punnil Seezhi Vadithu alum Kadhu valiyum].

DIRECTIONS FOR USAGE;

For external application only, to be applied directly at the site of infections or applied over a cloth and then users can also be used as ear drops
