Kurunthottiver Chooranam is a Siddha herbal medicine, it is used to treat Premature ejaculation, Nocturnal emission, spermatorrhoea, etc.

Role of Ingredients;

Sida cordifolia Rt. ( Kurunthottiver) – ; - is used to treat asthma, tuberculosis, the common cold, flu, headaches, nasal congestion, cough and wheezing, urinary tract infections, sore mouth, and fluid retention (edema).

Withania somnifera Rz. ( Amukkara Kizhangu ) – -is used in treating a wide variety of illnesses including asthma, diabetes, hypertension, stress, arthritic diseases, and cancer.

Asteracantha ( Neermulli vithai ) – - is reported to be beneficial against glucose disturbances (Diabetes) and against liver problems; in addition to these two therapeutic claims, it is reported to be a diuretic and an aphrodisiac

Holarrhoea ( Vetpalai Vithai ) – - amoebic dysentery and chronic diarrhoea. It is also a useful herb for treating various gut-related problems in small infants. It is used to kill harmful worms of the intestine.

Santalum album. ( Sandhanam ) – - used to treat urinary tract infections (UTIs), liver disease, gallbladder problems, heatstroke, gonorrhea, headache, and conditions of the heart and blood vessels (cardiovascular disease).

Hybanthus ( Orithazhthaamarai ) – is used in traditional medicine for treating diarrhoea, urinary infections, leucorrhoea, dysuria, inflammation, cholera, and sterility.

Myristica ( Jadhikkai ) – -  used to treat stomach ulcers, indigestion, liver disorders, and as an emmenagogue, nervine, diuretic, diaphoretic, and aphrodisiac.

Myristica ( Jadhipaththiri ) – ; used to treat stomach ulcers, indigestion, liver disorders, and as an emmenagogue, nervine, diuretic, diaphoretic, and aphrodisiac.

Moringa oleifera Rsn. ( Murungaipisin ) – -  is used extensively in the treatment of ascites, rheumatism, heart damage, venomous bites and as a cardiac and circulatory stimulant 

Moringa oleifera Sd. ( Murungai Vithai ) – ; is used extensively in the treatment of ascites, rheumatism, heart damage, venomous bites and as a cardiac and circulatory stimulant 

Ipomoea septaria Lf. ( Kattukodi Elia ) – - used to cure infertility in women. It is also considered an aphrodisiac, rejuvenates the body, improves strength, acts as a uterine tonic, and helps to conceive.

Indications;

Thuridhaskalidham/Vindhu Viraindhu Veliyeral (Premature ejaculation),

Soppanaskalidham/ Urakkaththil Vindhuviraindhu Veliyeral (Nocturnal emission ),

Vindhu Nashtam (spermatorrhoea) etc.

Dosage and Adjuvants;

1-2 gms with hot milk after food 2-3 times a day (or) as directed by the physician.
