Kultab is a balanced formulation that acts thoroughly in piles. Ingredients of Kultab like haritaki help reduce constipation which I one of the common causes of bleeding piles. Other ingredients like Suran, Daruharidra, and Neem reduce swelling of veins, controls bleeding during piles, and controls inflammation. Combination therapy of Kulon ointment gives better and faster results in an agony of the piles, fissure, and anorectal inflammations.
Role of Ingredients;
Suran - Used in healthy weight management, which reduces the bad cholesterol in the body. Improves digestion, strength by reducing bloating and irregular bowel movements. Regulates the blood flow, thereby reducing hypertension.
Haritak - Haritaki has been suggested for external wound healing, and used internally as a rejuvenating agent for the digestive system with its mild laxative action. It is considered “Tridoshic,” meaning that it has the capacity to balance all three doshas — Vata, pitta, and Kapha.
Yashtimadhu - is a small perennial herb that has been traditionally used to treat many diseases, such as respiratory disorders, hyperdipsia, epilepsy, fever, sexual debility, paralysis, stomach ulcers, rheumatism, skin diseases, hemorrhagic diseases, and jaundice.
Neem - is used for leprosy, eye disorders, bloody nose, intestinal worms, stomach upset, loss of appetite, skin ulcers, diseases of the heart and blood vessels (cardiovascular disease), fever, diabetes, gum disease (gingivitis), and liver problems. The leaf is also used for birth control and to cause abortions
Daruharidra -is mainly beneficial for skin problems like inflammation and psoriasis as it has anti-inflammatory and anti-psoriatic activity. It helps in managing acne by preventing the growth of acne-causing bacteria and reducing inflammation due to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
