Narasimha Rasayanam is a very famous ayurvedic medicine, in herbal butter form. This medicine has butter as its base. It is used for the preparatory procedures for Panchakarma and also as medicine for the treatment of weakness, weight gain, hair growth, and rejuvenation. It is also known as NarasimhaRasayana, Narasimha Rasayan. It improves immunity and physical strength. Can be used as a tonic to rejuvenating and also improves libido.

Role of Ingredients:

Khadira (Acacia catechu) -  has been widely used in Ayurveda for treating many diseases. Its heartwood extract is used in asthma, cough, bronchitis, colic, diarrhea, dysentery, boils, skin afflictions, sores, and stomatitis.

Shisham (Dalbergia sissoo) -is used for the treatment of obesity, vitiligo, fever, non-healing wounds, ulcers, intestinal parasites, etc. It is also used as a toothbrush in many countries.

Vidanga (Embelia ribes) - relieving headache, rhinitis, hemorrhage, epilepsy, and insomnia. The decoction of dried fruits is used for fever and for chest and skin disease. The paste is applied for skin infection.

Bijasara (Pterocarpus marsupium) -Fractures, constipation, hemorrhages skin diseases, depurative, ophthalmology, leprosy, proctalgia, and leucoderma, rheumatoid arthritis, skin diseases, external use for sores, boils, stomach pain, and gastrointestinal disorders.

Chitika (Plumbago zeylanicum) -  used in the treatment of stubborn chronic rheumatoid arthritis, skin diseases, and tumorous growths as recommended by Ayurveda. It also finds its use in correcting chronic menstrual disorders.

Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) -  is used to protect the liver and to treat respiratory conditions, including respiratory tract infections, cough, and sore throat. Terminalia chebula is used for ;

Bibhitaki (Terminalia belerica) - is used to protect the liver and to treat respiratory conditions, including respiratory tract infections, cough, and sore throat.

Bhalataka (Semecarpus anacardium)  fruit and nut extract show various activities like antiatherogenic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-reproductive, CNS stimulant, hypoglycemic, anticarcinogenic, and hair growth promoter.
