CHITHRAKASAVAM/GOMOOTHRASAVAM;

Gomoothrasavam is also termed as Chithrakasavam. It is an Ayurvedic formulation. This herbal tonic is generally beneficial to improve blood flow in the body. Gomoothrasavam is generally used in South Indian Ayurveda treatment.

ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;

Plumbaga zeylanica - used in the treatment of stubborn chronic rheumatoid arthritis, skin diseases and tumerous growths as recommended by Ayurveda. It also finds its use in correcting chronic menstrual disorders, viral warts and chronic diseases of nervous system.

Zingiber officinale - is one of the most widely used natural products consumed as a spice and medicine for treating nausea, dysentery, heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea, loss of appetite, infections, cough, and bronchitis.

Piper nigrum - is used traditionally for the treatment of various diseases including; cough, cold, dyspnea throat diseases, intermittent fever, dysentery, stomachache, worms and piles.

Piper longum -  is most commonly used to treat chronic bronchitis, asthma, constipation, gonorrhea, paralysis of the tongue, diarrhea, cholera, chronic malaria, viral hepatitis, respiratory infections, stomachache, bronchitis, diseases of the spleen, cough, and tumors.

Cow urine - is used for treatment of diabetes, blood pressure, asthma, psoriasis, eczema, heart attack, blockage in arteries, fits, cancer, AIDS, piles, prostrate, arthritis, migraine, thyroid, ulcer, acidity, constipation, gynaecological problems.

Honey - is used in treatment of eye diseases, throat infections, bronchial asthma, tuberculosis, hiccups, thirst, dizziness, fatigue, hepatitis, worm infestation, constipation, piles, eczema, healing of wounds, ulcers and used as a nutritious, easily digestible food for weak people.

It is used to treat leucoderma, 

It is used to treat skin disorders  

It is used to treat anaemia.

It is used to treat Itching

It is used to treat Scabies

It is also indicated in piles and dropsy

It is used to treat Psoriasis

It is used to treat Eczema

DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;

Vaidyaratnam Gomoothrasavam should be consumed after consulting a physician. Generally, the below steps are followed to have the supplement.

Have the supplement after meals

Have the supplement twice a day

Drink 15-30ml of the tonic a day

Mix an equal amount of lukewarm water with the tonic before consumption

Should be consumed for 4-6 weeks for effective results
