Haridra (Curcuma longa) is also called Haldi. It possesses curcuminoids as the main phytoactive constituent. Curcuminoids have anti-inflammatory potential, thus reduces swelling. It treats the different neurodegenerative (neuronal degeneration) disorders such as Parkinson's, and Alzheimer's. It helps in detoxification (toxins removal process), and also works as an effective antimicrobial (kill or inhibit microbial population).
