VELLVANGA PARPAM;

Vellvanga Parpam is a Classical Medicine in Siddha system of medicine. It is used to treat Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) is a common progressive disease among men, with an incidence that is high among elderly. Velvanga parpam (VP) has been employed as traditional remedy for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) which is a herbo mineral formulation.

ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;

Velvanga Menthagadu - Vanga - Elemental tin - it is used in the treatment of vomiting, anorexia, non-healing wounds, helminthiasis, premature ejaculation, nocturnal emission, cough, cold, bronchitis, asthma, emaciation, weight loss, and chronic bronchial diseases.

Poovarasam Pattai Chooranum - Thespesia poplunea - its  bark is astringent and is used in treating nasal bleeding, for vaginal douche, etc.,

INDICATIONS;

Vellvanga parpam is useful for Araiyappu Katti [ resolves pubo and heals it up],

Also given in initial stages of Aaramba paarisavayu [ paralysis],

It is useful to treat Keelvatham [ Arthritis],

It is useful to treat Navamoolam [ nine types of piles],

It is useful to treat  Leucorrhoea [ Vellai]

It is useful to treat  Kuttam / Thole Noigal [ leprosy / skin diseases]

It increases the sexual power and thickens the glandular secretions of the reproductive system.

DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;

Take 25 to 50mg with honey, ghee or butter once or twice a day after food or as directed by the physician.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS;

Avoid salts, tamarind, sour diet, alcohol, sasban, Pagal, non-veg foods, and tobacco.
