Varma Kudineer Chooranam is a classical Siddha medicine,
Chundai ver - Solanum torvum - it acts as an anti-bactirial and anti-inflammatory activity, it's useful for indigestion and colic disorders.
Adathodai ver - Adathoda vasica - is used as an expectorant especially in chronic bronchitis and asthma. It relieves cough and breathlessness.
Sadhaveri - Asparagus racemosus- used for fluid retention, pain, anxiety, cancer, diarrhea, bronchitis, tuberculosis, dementia, and diabetes.
Santhanam- Santalum album - is used for treating the common cold, cough, bronchitis, fever, and sore mouth and throat. It is also used to treat urinary tract infections (UTIs), liver disease, gallbladder problems, heatstroke, gonorrhea, headache, and conditions of the heart and blood vessels (cardiovascular disease).
Kostom - Saussurea lappa -is an anti-inflammatory that treats arthritis, rheumatism, and back problems. It improves skin by more circulation of blood to the skin.
INDICATIONS;
Varma Kudineer Chooranum is useful for Adipatta Veekam, Vali, Esivu (Traumatic swelling, pain, muscle spasm),
It is useful for Ratha kattu (Contusion),
it is useful for Varma Vali, Varma Pidippu (All types of Varma disorders).
it is useful for Ulkayam (Internal injuries),
it is useful for Muchu Pidippu (Difficulty in breathing due to internal injuries).
DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;
Take 5 gms of the powder mixed with 400ml. of the water, boil, and reduce to 30 to 40 ml and take it twice a day after food or as directed by the physician.
