SAANTHA CHANDRIODAYAM;
Saantha chandhirothaiyam ia a Siddha herb and mineral formulation for the treatment of Pitha suram (Disorders of Liver associated with or without fever). it acts as anti-oxidant anti-bacteria abdominal digestion.
ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;
Purified Pooram - Mercurous chloride - used as skin ointments to treat skin infection, and in developing countries, they have been applied to the treatment of skin sores from syphilis. Mercury compounds have been used as laxatives and also added to teething powders as calomel (mercurous chloride)
Purified Venkaram - Sodium tetraborate - it is used in treating food poisoning, abdominal colic pain. it improves digestion power, relieves bloating.
Kappu Manjal - Curcuma longa - is used as a traditional medicine and remedy for various diseases including a coughs, diabetes, dermatological conditions, respiratory problems, cardiovascular and hepatobiliary diseases, arthritis, irritable bowel disease (IBS), peptic ulcers, psoriasis, and atherosclerosis.
Elumichai Pazham - Citrus aurantifolia - is widely used because of its antibacterial, anticancer, antidiabetic, antifungal, anti-hypertensive, anti-inflammation, anti-lipidemia, and antioxidant properties; moreover, it can protect heart, liver, bone, and prevent urinary diseases.
INDICATIONS;
Saantha chandhiroothaiyam is useful for all types of Piththa surangal [bilious fever].
It acts as an rejuvenator tonic.
DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;
Take 1 to 2 pills with honey[ thean] or betel leaf juice[ vetrial chaaru] after food twice daily. or as directed by the physician.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS;
Avoid salt, tamarind, sour diet, alcohol,sasban, bitter gourd, non-veg foods, tobacco.
