VAZHAIPOO VADAGAM;
Vazhaipoo Vadagam is a Classical Siddha medicine in siddha system of medicine. It is used to treat Menorrhagia and dysmenorrhoea.
ROLE OF INGREDIENTS
Musa paradisiaca - used in diarrhoea, dysentery, intestinal lesions in ulcerative colitis, diabetes, sprue, uremia, nephritis, gout, hypertension and cardiac disease. This review reports the phytochemicals isolated and identified from fruit pulp, peel, seeds and flowers.
Syzygium aromaticum - have been used for centuries in the treatment of vomiting; flatulence; nausea; liver, bowel and stomach disorders; and as a stimulant for the nerves. In tropical Asia, cloves have been documented to relieve different microorganisms as scabies, cholera, malaria, and tuberculosis.
Myristica fragrans - is a well-known aromatic perennial plant with a characteristic scent that possesses multiple medicinal applications, being used to treat stomach ulcers, indigestion, liver disorders, and as emmenagogue, nervine, diuretic, diaphoretic, and aphrodisiac.
Murraya koenigii are used in treating piles, inflammation, itching, fresh cuts, dysentery, bruises, and edema. The roots are purgative to some extent. They are stimulating and used for common body aches.
