SAHACHARADI THAILAM;

Sahacharadi Thailam is a unique blend of herbs in oil form that gives relief from musculoskeletal disorders, rheumatic diseases, and joint-related problems. It’s effective to help treat disorders that are caused due to an imbalance of Vata imbalances in the body. There are many herbs that are used to make the Sahacharadi Kuzhambu and here are five herbs with their unique properties. Every herb used in Sahacharadi Kuzhambu adds to the potency of this ayurvedic product.

Sahacharadi Thailam is a treatment aimed at people suffering from various Vata disorders. It helps to heal musculoskeletal disorders and is seen as an ayurvedic treatment for sciatica too. It works like an ayurvedic medicine for sciatica and helps to give relief from the pain associated with sciatica. It can be used as ayurvedic medicine for varicose veins as it helps to decrease the inflammation and helps reduce pain too.

Sahacharadi Thailam is a herb-based oil that is traditionally prepared in the Ayurveda way. It can help in cases of muscle and joint stiffness. It’s helpful in the cases of convulsions, sinusitis, and rhinitis too because it has anti-inflammatory properties. The oil is useful in rheumatic diseases that affect the joints, ligaments, muscles, bones, and tendons. It works by minimizing pain in the area and helps to protect from further damage.

ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;

Rubia cordifolia - is popular all over the world for its medicinal uses in skin diseases like eczema, dermatitis and skin ulcers.

Aegle marmelos possesses antidiarrhoeal, antimicrobial, antiviral, radioprotective, anticancer, chemopreventive, antipyretic, ulcer healing, antigenotoxic, diuretic, antifertility and anti-inflammatory properties, which help it to play role in prevention.

Cedrus deodara - wood act as expectorant and useful in curing piles, epilepsy, stones in the kidney and bladder, useful in fevers and in many other disorders. The oil is antiseptic in nature and helpful in curing skin diseases, wounds, urogenital diseases, diaphoretic as well as insecticide.

Casearia esculenta, an indigenous antidiabetic plant popularly used in South India for diabetes mellitus, lowers blood glucose level under normal and glucose load conditions, and in streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetes in marmelos possesses antidiarrhoeal, antimicrobial, antiviral, radioprotective, anticancer, chemopreventive, antipyretic, ulcer healing, antigenotoxic, diuretic, antifertility and anti-inflammatory properties.

Oroxylum indicum -  prevention and treatment of several diseases, such as jaundice, arthritic and rheumatic problems, gastric ulcers, tumors, respiratory diseases, diabetes, and diarrhea and dysentery, among others.

Stereospermum suaveolens -  indigestion, hiccups, vomiting, diarrhea, pain, fever, diabetes, liver disorders, and asthma. People apply stereospermum to the skin to heal wounds.

Gmelina arborea have wound-healing and antidiarrheal properties. Various studies demonstrated that G. arborea and its constituents possess several pharmacological activities like anti-oxidant, anti-diabetic, anti-inflammatory, antiulcer, analgesic, anti-nociceptive, anticancer and wound healing activities.

Solanum indicum -  is useful in the treatment of asthma, catarrh, dropsy, chest pain, chronic fever, colic, dry and spasmodic cough, oedema, scorpion stings, difficult urination, and worm infestation.

Solanum xanthocarpum- has been used for treatment of many infectious and degenerative diseases in traditional medicine. Present study reports the medicinal efficacy of S. xanthocarpum fruit as antioxidant, anticancer and anti HIV agents.

Desmodium gangeticum -  has febrifuge, aphrodisiac, analgesic, diuretic, antiinflammatory, and haemorrhagic properties. It is used in postnatal complaints, diarrhoea, chronic fever, biliousness, cough, vomiting, and asthma. It is an important ingredient of dasmoolarishta and chyavanprash.

Uraria picta -  is useful in quick healing of bone fractures. It is used as a cardio and nervine tonic and has anti-inflammatory, expectorant, and diuretic properties. The root of the plant is one of the ingredients of 'dasamoola' in Ayurveda.

Tribulus terrestris - gonorrhea, liver disease (hepatitis), inflammation, joint pain (rheumatism), leprosy, coughs, headache, dizziness (vertigo), chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), and enhancing athletic performance. It is also used for stimulating appetite and as an astringent, tonic, and mood enhancer.

Strobilanthus ciliatus - has been shown to possess a range of folk and proven biological activities such as antiinflammatory, analgesic, anticancer, antimicrobial, antidiabetic and hepatoprotective.

Saussurea lappa roots have been widely used in chronic gastritis, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma and bronchitis in traditional medicine and in inflammation-related diseases. Its roots are used especially in Siddha for the medicinal purposes.

Masha Thailam is an Ayurvedic formulation that is used externally to alleviate the symptoms of muscular dystrophy, sciatica, rheumatic arthritis, cold shoulder, osteoarthritis, stiffness, facial palsy, tremors, tinnitus and muscle wasting.

Very effective if applied externally in pounding pain, pricking pain, numbness and loss of strength. Controls rheumatism. For quick relief, use warm.

DIRECTIONS FOR USAGE;

Sahacharadi Thailam is not to be consumed. Massage the herbal oil daily or weekly, or as suggested by your healthcare practitioner.
