PINDA THAILAM;

Pinda Thailam is an effective Siddha herbal oil, possessing topical analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. Its cooling effect makes it suitable in pitta and Vata dosha-related illnesses developing in bones, joints, muscles, and skin. Pinda Thailam is beneficial in providing relief from pain, burning sensation, redness, tenderness, and inflammation. It proves to be beneficial in joint disorders like arthritis and helps improve movement in the joints.

ROLE OF INGREDIENTS:

Manjishta (Rubia cordifolia)  - is used internally in the treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding, internal and external hemorrhage, bronchitis, rheumatism, stones in the kidney and gall bladder, diuretic, dysentery, etc. The roots are used to lower blood pressure.

Sveta Sariva (Hemidesmis indicus) - is demulcent, alterative, astringent, diaphoretic, diuretic, tonic, anti-pyretic, and blood ;It is used in leprosy, skin diseases, fever, asthma, bronchitis, syphilis, pruritus and other urinary diseases, chronic rheumatism, and leucorrhoea.

Shorea robusta -carminative, stomachic, and astringent properties. It gives relief in skin disorders, pain in nerves, burn injury, fever, enlargement of the spleen, abnormal discharge from the body (menorrhagia, leucorrhoea), diarrhea, and bleeding piles.

Sesamum Indicum - It is mildly laxative, emollient, and demulcent. The seeds and fresh leaves may be used as a poultice. The antibacterial activity of seeds against Staphylococcus and Streptococcus as well as common skin fungi, such as athlete's foot fungus has also been well recognized.
