Spatika Bhasma - is an Ayurvedic medicine in powder form, used in the treatment of leucoderma, herpes ; It is used for the treatment of bleeding disorders, respiratory diseases.
Alsi can reduce Heart disease. Alsi contains lignans, and they help reduce triglycerides and bad cholesterol levels of the body. Also, they help to increase the level of good cholesterol. This can help in reducing the chances of blockage in the arteries.
Adhatoda vasica is useful in treating bronchitis, tuberculosis and other lung and bronchiole disorders. A decoction of the leaves of Vasaka may be used to help with cough and other symptoms of colds. The soothing action helps irritation in the throat and the expectorant will help loosen phlegm deposits in the airway.
Karkatshringi - helps manage cough by removing excess mucus from the respiratory tract due to its expectorant property. It also helps manage bronchitis by relaxing the respiratory passages and allowing unobstructed passage of air to the lungs.
Piper longum - is most commonly used to treat chronic bronchitis, asthma, constipation, gonorrhea, paralysis of the tongue, diarrhea, cholera, chronic malaria, viral hepatitis, respiratory infections, stomachache, bronchitis, diseases of the spleen, cough, and tumors.
Piper nigrum - is used traditionally for the treatment of various diseases including; cough, cold, dyspnea throat diseases, intermittent fever, dysentery, stomachache, worms and piles.
Zingiber officinale - is one of the most widely used natural products consumed as a spice and medicine for treating nausea, dysentery, heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea, loss of appetite, infections, cough, and bronchitis.
Elettaria cardamomum - Cardamom is used to cure indigestion, nausea, vomiting and used to expel out phlegm out of body. It is very beneficial in congestion of lungs and other pulmonary diseases. It is also used as laxative and used to prevent stomach pain, flatulence and gripping.
Cinnamomum tamala is an Ayurveda herb mentioned for the treatment of bad odor from mouth, black spots on the face, dental caries, swelling, cough and in complications of tuberculosis.
Ocimum sanctum - is also known as Holy Basil or Tulsi, and belongs to the family of Lamiaceae.
