VYOSHAADHI VATAKAM;
Vyoshaadhi Vatakam is an effective Ayurvedic medicine for cold, cough, and other respiratory diseases. It is in tablet or granules form. It is also known as Vyoshadi Vati. This is an Ayurvedic medicine used as expectorant, appetizer, anti-allergic, tones up voice. It is useful in rhinorrhea, persistent cold, cough, dyspnea, anorexia, hoarse voice, pharyngitis, respiratory allergy, and allergic sneezing.
ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;
Zingiber officinale - is one of the most widely used natural products consumed as a spice and medicine for treating nausea, dysentery, heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea, loss of appetite, infections, cough, and bronchitis.
Piper longum - is most commonly used to treat chronic bronchitis, asthma, constipation, gonorrhea, paralysis of the tongue, diarrhea, cholera, chronic malaria, viral hepatitis, respiratory infections, stomachache, bronchitis, diseases of the spleen, cough, and tumors.
Abies webbiana - is an ingredient in a famous Ayurvedic medicine for cough – Talisadi Choorna, used in treating cough and cold. It is aromatic, appetizer, expectorant, and mildly laxative.
Piper Chaba - is most commonly used to treat chronic bronchitis, asthma, constipation, gonorrhea, paralysis of the tongue, diarrhea, cholera, chronic malaria, viral hepatitis, respiratory infections, stomachache, bronchitis, diseases of the spleen, cough, and tumors.
Rhus parviflore - is used in the treatment of V?ta vik?ra, a condition related to neurological complications as well as a cure for stomach disorders.
Garcinia pedunculata - is an excellent cardiac stimulant, digestive, and laxative. Used in Ayurveda since the time of Charaka, it is also useful in cough, bloating, splenomegaly, etc. Botanical Names- Garcinia pedunculata Roxb.
Plumbago zeylanica - used in the treatment of stubborn chronic rheumatoid arthritis, skin diseases, and tumorous growths as recommended by Ayurveda. It also finds its use in correcting chronic menstrual disorders, viral warts, and chronic diseases of the nervous system.
Cinnamomum zeylanica - is a natural remedy that provides relief in sore throat, influenza, common cold, and headache. It is a good herbal remedy as an expectorant and anti-tubercular activity. Useful in case of Rheumatoid Arthritis.
