DADIMADI GHRUTHAM;
Dadimadi Ghrutham is an Ayurvedic medicine, in herbal ghee medicine has ghee as its base. It is used for preparatory procedure for Panchakarma and also as medicine. Dadimadi refers to pomegranate. Ayurveda explains pomegranate benefits in utmost detail. ,It is the main ingredient of this medicine. It is also known as Dasdimadi Ghrit, Dadimadi ghritam, Dadimadi Ghritham etc.
ROLE OF INGREDINETS;
Punica granatum - treat sore throats, coughs, urinary infections, digestive disorders, skin disorders, arthritis, and to expel tapeworms.
Coriandrum sativum - is taken by mouth for stomach and intestinal problems including upset stomach, nausea, diarrhea, intestinal gas, constipation, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). It is also taken by mouth for convulsions, insomnia, anxiety, and to treat infections caused by bacteria and fungus
Zingiber officinale - is one of the most widely used natural products consumed as a spice and medicine for treating nausea, dysentery, heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea, loss of appetite, infections, cough, and bronchitis.
Piper longum - is most commonly used to treat chronic bronchitis, asthma, constipation, gonorrhea, paralysis of the tongue, diarrhea, cholera, chronic malaria, viral hepatitis, respiratory infections, stomachache, bronchitis, diseases of the spleen, cough, and tumors.
Plumbago zeylanica - used in the treatment of stubborn chronic rheumatoid arthritis, skin diseases and tumerous growths as recommended by Ayurveda. It also finds its use in correcting chronic menstrual disorders, viral warts and chronic diseases of nervous system.
Ghee - is also an important carrier of fat soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) and essential fatty-acids (linolenic acid and arachidonic acid). It is antibacterial and antimicrobial in nature. It can also effectively treat cough, pneumonia, and excessive phlegm

It is widely used as medicine and also in preparatory procedure called snehakarma for the treatment of heart diseases, anemia, piles, spleen diseases, cough and asthma. Good for all vayu ailments in the abdomen.
It is also used in the treatment of infertility in women.
In pregnant mother, it is given to improve the chances and ease of normal delivery.

DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;
As medicine – quarter to half teaspoon with water, usually before food, once or twice a day, or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
For Panchakarma preparation – Snehana procedure, the dose depends on the disease status and the judgement of Ayurvedic doctor.
It is usually administered with warm water.
