VEDIUPPU CHUNNAM;
Vediuppu Chunnam is a highly acclaimed dosage form of an alkaline group of drugs indicated for chronic degenerative diseases in the Siddha System of Medicine. It is prepared from Salt Peter, Purified with quenching in different plant juices
ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;
Vediuppu - blockage of the urinary tract, Obesity, High protein (or) Glucose diet, Cystic kidney diseases, Hyper parathyroid condition, Inflammatory of bowel diseases, Gout, Gastric bypass surgery, Recurrent UTI's, Renal tubular acidosis, Certain medications such as Diuretics, Calcium-based antacids, Anti-Seizure drugs.
Padigaram - is used as an antipyretic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, hemostatic in several medicinal systems. It is also used in many compound formulations in various dosage forms.
Vengara - is widely used in the Siddha System of Medicines for the treatment of Skin diseases, Uterine disorders, Gastric ulcers, Dental disease, Urinary tract infections, External washes for oral ulcers, Eye disease, and Burning micturition, etc.
INDICATIONS;
It is used to treat Urinary obstructions,
It is used to treat retention of urine,
It is used to treat renal stones,
It is used to treat urinary calculi/ urolithiasis,
It is used to treat urinary tract obstruction.
DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;
Take 100mg with tender coconut juice water or Raddish juice, Neermuli decoction, or as directed by the physician.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS;
Drink at least 2 lit of water every day
Increase intake of dietary fiber, green leafy vegetables
Consume adequate dietary calcium
Reduce intake of high oxalate containing foods (black tea, cocoa, spinach, betel leaves, parsley, nuts)
Limit dairy products
Avoid sugar, salt, processed meat, alcohol consumption
Avoid controlling voiding.
