Artigon Capsules is Siddha herbal medicine in Siddha system of medicine, it is used tio treat Artigon control pain and inflammation of muscles and joints and related. Musculo-skeletal problems like rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, periarthritis, rheumatic arthritis, lumbago & sciatica.
ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;
Withania somnifera - commonly called ashwagandha, is a winter cherry tropical to the Solanaceae family that is used in treating a wide variety of illnesses including asthma, diabetes, hypertension, stress, arthritic diseases, and cancer.
Balsamodendron mukul - has been used in the Ayurveda since time immemorial for the treatment of variety of disorders such as inflammation, gout, rheumatism, obesity, and disorders of lipids metabolism.
Sida cordifolia is used to treat asthma, tuberculosis, the common cold, flu, headaches, nasal congestion, cough and wheezing, urinary tract infections, sore mouth, and fluid retention (edema).
Boerhavia diffusa - cure disorders like intestinal colic, kidney disorders, cough, hemorrhoids, skin diseases, alcoholism, insomnia, eye diseases, asthma and jaundice,Boerhavia diffusa (Sri Lankan Name Pita Sudu sarana best green medicine for Diabetes .
Alpinia galanga - is used to treat fever, muscle spasms, intestinal gas, and swelling (inflammation); to kill bacteria; and as a stimulant.
Mucuna pruriens - is an established herbal drug used for the management of male infertility, nervous disorders, and also as an aphrodisiac. It has been shown that its seeds are potentially of substantial medicinal importance.
Cardiospermum halicacabum - as diaphoretic, diuretic, emetic, laxative, refrigerant, stomachic and sudorific and has antibacterial, anti-diarrheal, antioxidant activities, suppresses TNF production, exhibits anticancer, vaso depressant effect, rheumatism, severe bronchitis, snakebite.
Emblica officinalis as antioxidant, immune modulatory, antipyretic, analgesic, cytoprotective, anti ulser, immune modulatory, anti inflammatory, antitussive and gastroprotective are also studied.
Terminalia bellerica is used to protect the liver and to treat respiratory conditions, including respiratory tract infections, cough, and sore throat. Terminalia chebula is used for dysentery. Terminalia bellerica and Terminalia chebula are used as a lotion for sore eyes.
