KARPOOGI THAILAM;
Karpoogi Thailam is classical Siddha medicine in Siddha system of medicine. It is used to treat Skin Diseases, Leucoderma, Fungal Infections and Vitiligo.
ROLE OF INGREDINETS;
Psoralea Corylifolia(Karbogarisi) - leucoderma, psoriasis, vitiligo, asthma, ulcers, kidney disorders, and as an aphrodisiac and an anti-inflammatory. It is reported to contain essential oil, coumarins, alkaloids, flavonoids, and terpenoids.
Glycerrhiza Glabra(Adhimathuram) - is a small perennial herb that has been traditionally used to treat many diseases, such as respiratory disorders, hyperdipsia, epilepsy, fever, sexual debility, paralysis, stomach ulcers, rheumatism, skin diseases, hemorrhagic diseases, and jaundice.
Kaempferia Galanga(Kitchili Kilangu) - has been applied to treat cold, dry cough, toothaches, rheumatism, hypertension and so on. In addition, it has been used widely as spices since its highly aromas.
Coconut Oil - assists in improving blood circulation, lubricates the internal organs, joints and bones, improve quality of sleep. It also has antimicrobial and antioxidant properties, and it may help improve skin and oral health.
