Triphala is a powerful herbal remedy that consists of Haritaki, Bibhitaki and amla. It is used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine to prevent disease and treat a number of symptoms, including constipation and inflammation.
INDICATIONS;
Cough, constipation, stomatitis, conjunctivitis, a decoction of this chooranum is used to wash and clean wounds and ulcers, it is given in cough with honey , in constipation with hot water and in conjunctivitis,its decoction is used to wash the eye periodically , it allays the severity of diabetes ;
DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;
1-3 gms with water ,honey or ghee , 2-3 times a day after food ,can also be used externally for washing.
