IMBOORAL MATHIRAI;
Imbooral Mathirai is an effective Siddha preparation used to treat menorrhagia, where women experience excessive bleeding during the menstrual cycle. Imbooral Lehyam is mainly made of Imbural (Oldenlandia Umbellata) herb which has the capability to stop all kinds of bleeding.
It is also used to treat vomiting of blood, Rakta pitta conditions, and also as an antibacterial agent.
ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;
Oldenlandia Umbellata - has been used in diverse applications, for instance, a decoction of leaves is used to treat poisonous bites, roots are used in asthma, bronchitis, and bronchial catarrh treatment and also considered as a good expectorant.
BENEFITS;
In the bleeding conditions like Menorrhagia, Siddha Medicine prepared from Inbooral in the form of Mathirai, Vadagam, or Leghyam is administered as directed by the Siddha Physician.
For toxic bites and ulcers, the decoction prepared from its roots and leaves is used externally as a wash.
Decoction of roots is given for Cough, Bronchial asthma, etc.
A decoction of the leaves and bark is considered expectorant and is prescribed in cases of bronchial catarrh, bronchitis, tuberculosis, and asthma.
A decoction of the leaves is used as a wash for poisonous bites.
The root is used in the treatment of snakebite

DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;
Take one tablet to be chewed slowly, when suffering from cough and daily up to 10 tablets or as directed by the physician.
