GOWRI CHINDHAMANI CHENDOORAM;

Gowri Chinndamani Chendooram is a classical Siddha medicine it is useful for many indications like cough, tuberculosis, asthma, piles, fistula, etc.

It is used to treat rheumatism, chronic fever, bronchitis, rat bite, dyspnea, cough, tuberculosis, piles, bubo, jaundice, inflammations, and pain in male and female genital organs. Orchitis, hepatitis, glossitis, scrofula, ulcers, eczematous affections, and other skin diseases, stomach ache, diarrhea, fistula, diabetes, headache in sinusitis.

ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;

Purified Mercury -is used as a diuretic, antiseptic, skin ointment, vitiligo, laxative, and is applied externally for teething discomfort in children, contains mercury chloride.

Purified Elemental sulfur - used to increase the synthesis of S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe), glutathione (GSH), taurine, and N-acetylcysteine (NAC). MSM may be effective for the treatment of allergy, pain syndromes, athletic injuries, and bladder disorders.

Purified Borax - has been used traditionally as a topical astringent, a mild topical anti-infective, ophthalmological irrigant, rodent repellent, and insecticide.

INDICATIONS;

Given with three pungent powders in colic, rheumatism, chronic fevers, rat bite, bronchitis, dyspnoea, cough, tuberculosis, piles, bubo, jaundice, inflammations and pains in the male and female genital organs, orchitis, abscess, hepatitis, glossitis, scrofula, ulcers, eczematous affections and other skin diseases. Given with nutmeg, mace, cloves and atis powder in stomach aches, diarrhoea, and indigestion.

a]Thirikaduku Chooranum with honey - gastritis, bronchial asthma, piles, inflammation of male and female genital organs accompanied by with severe pain, erysipelas, ulcerative bites, TB, colic, chronic fever, pneumonia, dyspnoea, Vatha disorders

b] Chooranam composed of nutmeg, mace, cloves, and atis along with honey; diarrhea, irritative stomach, spure.

c] Chooranam composed of wild amorphophallus,  chebulic myrobalan, dry ginger, and long pepper along with honey; all types of piles and fistula

d] Destructive distillation oil of tanner cassia [ Aavari Kuzhi thailam]; Urinary obstructions by the growth of small tissue, polyurea, excessive heat, emaciation.

e]Destructive distillation oil of Alangium seeds[ Azhinichil Vidhai Kuzhi thailum]; stomach disorders, vatha diseases.

f]Honey ; head ache, sinusitis.

g]Juice extracted from the just warmed yellowed leaves of Calotropis leaves [to be given along with medicine on alternative days]; procedures sever purgations. to stop this buttermilk rice is to be administered. this is effective in thin the eradiation of toxaemic stages, oedema, jaundice, biliousness, enlargement of the liver, dropsy, fever, only goat's milk and rice is permitted during this period. afters the stoppage of medicine, mildly salted articles, and dried goat meat are to be administered first before the commencement of the normal diet.

DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS ; 

100 mg twice daily after food generally with honey and Thirikadugu Chooranam. but other adjuvants are also being which are delt with subsequently.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS;

Avoid salts, tamarind, sour diet, alcohol, Pagal [ bitter gourd], Agathi[Saban], non-veg foods, tobacco.
