PATTU KARUPPU;
Pattu Karuppu is a classical Siddha medicine, it is used in the treatment of menstrual problems and puerperal fever. Pattu Karuppu is used to treat pain during menstruation (dysmenorrhoea), the absence of menstrual cycle (amenorrhoea), and delirium, its anticancer properties have not yet been explored.
ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;
Suddhi Seitha Lingam- Mercuric sulfide -7% useful in fever, rheumatic fever, intermittent fever, etc.,
Suddhi Seitha Rasam -Elemental mercury -7% - is used for the treatment of Diarrhoea, Fever, Delirium, Chronic ulcers, Polyurea, Urticaria, Tuberculosis, Dermatitis, Scabies, Tumours, Leprosy, Pain and Vaatha diseases
Suddhi Seitha Gandhagam- Elemental sulfur - - is useful in fungal infections of the skin, scabies, eczema, and for application over chronic infective lesions. Gandhaka has antibacterial and antifungal activity (Krimighna). It is effective both internally and topically as a microbicide agent.
Suddhi Seitha Pooram - Mercuric chloride - is widely used to cure complicated and chronic diseases. Pooram is one of the five compounds.
Suddhi Seitha Vellai Pashanam -Arsenic trioxide -is used to treat cancer of the blood and bone marrow called acute promyelocytic
Suddhi Seitha Kantham- Magenitic iron - is used to treat or prevent anemia (a lower than a normal number of red blood cells) when the amount of iron taken in from the diet is not enough.
Visha Nabi-Aconitum ferox - a very famous medication in Ayurveda for fever and all inflammatory conditions. Meethavish plant is one of the most ancient home remedies for fever. It has a diuretic action, causes bradycardia, and reduces sweating.
Lavanagam -Syzygium aromaticum- ; have been used for centuries in the treatment of vomiting; flatulence; nausea; liver, bowel, and stomach disorders; and as a stimulant for the nerves. In tropical Asia, cloves have been documented to relieve different microorganisms such as scabies, cholera, malaria, and tuberculosis.
Koodiveli Ver - Plumbago Rosea - - is a potent medicinal agent used in the treatment of stubborn chronic rheumatoid arthritis, skin diseases, and tumorous growths as recommended by Ayurveda. It also finds its use in correcting chronic menstrual disorders, viral warts, and chronic diseases of the nervous system.
INDICATIONS;
It is used to treat all types of Kaichchal / Surangal[ fevers],
It is used to treat Soothaka Soolai [dysmenorrhoea],
It is used to treat Soothaga Suram[ puerperal fever],
It is used to treat Soothaga Sanni[ puerperal delirium],
It is used to treat Soothaga Vettai[ leucorrhoea/ white discharge formation].
DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;
Take 25 to 50 mg twice daily with honey after food, or as directed by the physician.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS;
Avoid salt, tamarind, sour diet, bitter gourd, sesban, alcohol, non-veg foods, tobacco.
