It is used extensively in fever, bloating, piles, skin diseases, etc.
It is useful in abdominal pain, Pneumonia, low back ache, Dry cough, Chronic bronchial diseases, haematemesis, menorrhagia, leucoderma,Visarpa, etc.
It is an Ayurvedic herb used for the treatment of difficulty in micturition, general debility, diarrhea, psychiatric conditions, hepatomegaly and acidity.
Various kinds of nachchu kadi [poisonus bites], 18 types of chronic colic, 18 types of leprosy, all types of erysipelas, scrotal cancer, bubo, fissure, scrofula, erysipelas of the sclap, glandular enlargement, ,urinaryobstructions, gastritis, leucoderma, rigidity of leg, disorder of ovam, dropsy, itching, fever, fever accompained by cephalagia,delirium, toothache, fissure of hand and feet,odontalgia, peeligai, penial cancer, goiter, vaginal cancer, carbuncles, numbess, rashes, irritative and bleeding ulcers,ring worms.
DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;
500mg with milk or palm jaggery once or twice a day depending on the ailments ,should be taken for 12-25-45 days.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS;
Avoid salts, tamarind, sour diet, alcohol, pagal [bitter gourd], sasban[agathi], non-veg foods and tobacco.
