ARUGAN THAILAM;

Arugan Thailam is a classical Siddha herbal medicine in siddha system of medicine, it is used to treat, all types of skin diseases and fungal infections.

ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;

Cynodon dactylon -  is a perennial grass. The plant is a rich source of metabolites such as proteins, carbohydrates, mineral constituents, P-sitosterol, flavonoids, alkaloids, glycosides, and triterpenoids. The plant has been long used in traditional medicines to treat various ailments such as anasarca, cancer, convulsions, cough, cramps, diarrhea, dropsy, dysentery, epilepsy, headache, hemorrhage, hypertension, hysteria, measles, rubella, snakebite, sores, stones, tumors, urogenital disorders, warts, and ;

Psoralea corylifolia - is good to cure dyspnoea, asthma, bronchitis and various disorders associated with respiratory tract. It is used to relieve indigestion and also used to cure worm infestation. Seeds of this plant are used to cure various skin disorders. Fruits of this herb are bitter in taste and used to stop vomiting.

Saussurea lappa roots have been widely used in chronic gastritis, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma and bronchitis in traditional medicine and in inflammation-related diseases. Its roots are used especially in Siddha for the medicinal purposes 

Sesamum indicum -  is mildly laxative, emollient, and demulcent. The seeds and fresh leaves may be used as a poultice. The antibacterial activity of seeds against Staphylococcus and Streptococcus as well as common skin fungi, such as athlete's foot fungus has also been well recognized.
