CARTATOL E TABLETS;
Caratol E Tablets is a Siddh a herbs & Mineral medication, It is useful for Vitiligo and hypo-pigmentary disorders. Caratol-Ecapsules is given for the treatment of Vitiligo. The etiopathology of Vitiligo is although very difficult to understand but however the role of alpha MSH hormone in stimulating melanin synthesis is well. Drugs that would augment MSH activity are also chosen for the treatment of Vitiligo. Helps in rapid increase of melanogenesis along with topical Tolenorm. Increases tyrosinase & dendrite length of melanocytes. Acts as immune booster tablet.
ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;
Smilax chinensis - is used to treat various heart related disorder. It also used as stimulant for digestive system and good for promoting process of digestion. It is also carminative and laxative in nature and good for the sufferers of constipation.
Withania somnifera - is used in treating a wide variety of illnesses including asthma, diabetes, hypertension, stress, arthritic diseases, and cancer.
Elettaria cardamomum - is used to cure indigestion, nausea, vomiting and used to expel out phlegm out of body. It is very beneficial in congestion of lungs and other pulmonary diseases. It is also used as laxative and used to prevent stomach pain, flatulence and gripping.
Psoralia corylifolia - used since centuries in leukoderma, psoriasis, vitiligo, asthma, ulcers, kidney disorders, and as an aphrodisiac and an anti-inflammatory. It is reported to contain essential oil, coumarins, alkaloids, flavonoids, and terpenoids.
Embelia ribes - known in commerce as Baibidang are recommended for relieving headache, rhinitis, haemorrhage, epilepsy and insomnia. The decoction of dried fruits is used for fever and for chest and skin disease. Paste is applied for skin infection.
Piper longum - is most commonly used to treat chronic bronchitis, asthma, constipation, gonorrhea, paralysis of the tongue, diarrhea, cholera, chronic malaria, viral hepatitis, respiratory infections, stomachache, bronchitis, diseases of the spleen, cough, and tumors.
Conch turbinella rapa parpam - s widely used for the treatment of indigestion, acidity, hyperacidity, ulcer, carminative and piles. It is used externally for various skin diseases, pimples and skin crack. Sangu parpam is a product is taken in this present study for standardization by using IR spectrum.
Linga chenduram - 'Sarva noi linga chenduram' is one among the medicines used in Siddha for treating 'Azhal Keel Vayu' which may be correlated with Osteo arthritis having the symptoms of Pain and swelling in knee joints etc
Ponnimillai chenduram - it is used to treat alla types of skin diseases and rheumatic and arthiritis conditions.

INDICATIONS;
Venkutam[Vitiligo and hypo-pigmentary disorders]
DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;
Adults: Take one capsule in morning and two capsules at night before food with milk or water, or as directed by the physician.
Children: Above 10 years: Take two capsules a day before food with milk or water, or as directed by the physician.
Children: 5- 10 years: Take one capsule once a day before food with milk or water, or as directed by the physician.
