Dabur Pradarantak Ras is an ayurvedic and herbal medicine. It is available in the form of a tablet and to be taken orally. Pradarantak Ras is manufactured by the Dabur. Dabur Pradarantak Ras is mainly used for the treatment of amenorrhea (absence of menstruation). This medicine is also indicated for the management of leucorrhea (discharge of mucus from the vagina).
The major key ingredients present in Dabur Pradarantak Ras are vang bhasma, raupya bhasma, and lauh bhasma. Here are the health benefits of each of these:
· Vanga Bhasma is prepared by heating tin at high temperature to form a calx (bhasma). It has emmenagogue (agents stimulate menstrual flow) action which is helpful in treating amenorrhea (absence of menstruation).
· Raupya Bhasma (silver clax) has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action which is helpful in treating leucorrhea and vaginal infections.
· Lauh Bhasma contains micro-fine particles of iron that are heated at high temperature to form a calx (bhasma). It has emmenagogue action which is helpful in treating amenorrhea.
