Dabur Panchsakar Churna is an ayurvedic and herbal formulation. Panchsakar Churna is the product of Dabur. it is available in the powder form which is to be taken orally.

Panchsakar Churna is mainly prescribed for digestive disturbance such as constipation, and piles. It is also recommended for stomach diseases such as abdominal bloating (swelling of the abdomen due to gas formation) , and colic (severe stomach pain). Herbal ingredient of the formulation acts as the digestive stimulant and used for anorexia ( decreased appetite) and constipation. It also helps in detoxification (toxins removal) and thus helps in blood purification by eliminating toxins from the body.

It contains Shunti (Zingiber officinalis), swarnapatri (Cassia angustifolia), shatapushpa (Anethum sowa), haritaki (Terminalia chebula), and saindhava lavana (rock salt) as the key ingredient of this formulation. Here are the health benefits of each of these: 

  • Shunti (Zingiber officinalis) and saindhava lavana (rock salt) increase digestion, appetite, bile flow and cures constipation.
  • Swarnapatri (Cassia angustifolia) is used as the stool softener. It increases the water content in the stools and cures constipation.
  • Shatapushpa (Anethum sowa) is commonly known as fennel. It is used as a digestive stimulant,and ;
  • Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) improves digestion and cures flatulence, abdominal bloating, constipation, hemorrhoids, piles, gastric ulcer, and vomiting.
