Dabur Hridayarnava Ras is an ayurvedic and herbal medicine, It is available in tablet form and to be taken ; 

Dabur Hridayarnava Ras is widely used for the treatment of heart diseases such as angina pectoris and dyspnea (shortness of breath). This medicine balances kapha dosha and it is also indicated for the management of insomnia (lack of sleep). 

The major key ingredients present in Dabur Hridayarnava Ras are tamra bhasma, triphala, and makoi ras. Here are the uses of each of these:

  • Tamara Bhasma is prepared from copper by the process of calcination (heating at high temperature). It is used in the treatment of obesity that helps in reducing the chances of heart ;
  • Triphala is prepared from three herbs namely haritaki, bibhitaki, and amalaki. Due to the presence of polyphenols and tannins, it converts reactive oxygen free radicals to a non-reactive product that is helpful in preventing the difficulties of oxidative stress such as blood pressure and heart disease.
  • The potency of makoi is hot. It balances the tridosha and is used in the treatment of insomnia (sleeplessness).
