Dabur Brahmi Vati is an ayurvedic and herbal medicine. It is available in the form of a tablet and to be taken orally. Brahmi Vati is manufactured by the Dabur. Dabur Brahmi Vati is mainly used for improving memory and mental stress. This medicine balances vata as well as pitta dosha and it is also helpful in maintaining blood pressure.

The major key ingredients present in Dabur Brahmi Vati are brahmi, abhrak bhasma, and vanga bhasma. Here are the health benefits of each of these:

  • Brahmi is used as a nervine tonic (agents that calms the excited nerves of a brain) due to which it helps in the treatment of epilepsy. It contains bacosides A and bacosides B as the chemical constituent that helps in increasing the protein kinase (enzyme) activity, therefore, it is helpful in treating memory loss.
  • Abhrak Bhasma contains anti-depressant agent that helps in the treatment of depression, mental stress, and anxiety.
  • Vanga Bhasma is prepared from tin by the process of calcination (heating at high temperature) and it is effective for the treatment of a headache
