Dabur Active Antacid Information

Dabur Active Antacid is an ayurvedic and herbal medicine. It is available in liquid form (syrup) and to be taken orally. Active Antacid is manufactured by the Active Antacid is widely used for the treatment of acidity and gas.

The major key ingredients present in Dabur Active Antacid are dhaniya, vacha, malayvacha, and bhunimbh. Here are the health benefits of each of these:

  • Dhaniya contains two chemical namely borneol and linalool, these two chemicals have the ability to simulate the digestive system and is used in the treatment of indigestion. It also contains an anti-spasmodic action which is helpful in the treatment of stomach pain.
  • Vacha is also known as a sweet flag. Due to the presence of carminative (agent expel out gas from the stomach) and digestive stimulant action, it is used in the treatment of dyspepsia (indigestion), flatulence, and acidity.
  • Malayvacha (kulanja) can stimulate the digestive system and due to its carminative activity, it used in the treatment of digestive disease.
  • Bhunimbh is also called as kalmegh. It contains laxative action that is helpful for the movement of bowel due to which it is helpful in the treatment of constipation.
