Palakarai Parpam is a traditional medicine in Siddha system of ; is used as an antipyretic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, hemostytic. It helps to treat urinary tract infections. it also used to treat colic, ulcer, eye diseases, earache, and dysentery. It is used in indigestion, colic, peptic ulcer, eye diseases, dysentery, ear ache, ulcer. Calx is prepared from the shells is used as an expectorant in Chronic bronchitis, White variety is considered to be good. It is diuretic, anti-diarrheal and of value, in eye diseases, if used in the form of Anjana.

ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;

Cypraea moneta - is used in indigestion, colic, peptic ulcer, eye diseases, dysentery, earache, ulcer. Calx is prepared from the shells is used as an expectorant in Chronic bronchitis, White variety is considered to be good. It is diuretic, anti-diarrheal and of value in eye diseases, if used in the form of Anjana.

Citrus aurantifolia - is widely used because of its antibacterial, anticancer, antidiabetic, antifungal, anti-hypertensive, anti-inflammation, anti-lipidemia, and antioxidant properties; moreover, it can protect the heart, liver, bone, and prevent urinary diseases.

It  is used to namachal [ itching and rashes],

It acts as a very good antihistamine.

DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;

Take 100-200mg with ghee, butter, or milk twice a day after food. or as directed by the physician.
