SMILAX SYRUP OF FIGS;
Smilax Syrup of Figs is a natural herbal blend with laxative properties that cleanse the digestive tract and stimulates the removal of wastes. In addition, its vermifuge properties expel intestinal parasites. The formula can also help in controlling inflammatory conditions of the gut. It is safe and gentle and can even be given to children, pregnant women, and elderly patients.
ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;
Ficus carica - used in traditional medicine to treat various ailments such as gastrointestinal (colic, indigestion, loss of appetite, and diarrhea), respiratory (sore throats, coughs, and bronchial problems), and cardiovascular disorders and as an anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic remedy.
Glycyrrhiza glabra - used to treat many diseases, such as respiratory disorders, hyperdipsia, epilepsy, fever, sexual debility, paralysis, stomach ulcers, rheumatism, skin diseases, hemorrhagic diseases, and jaundice.
Cassia Angustifolia - is also used for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), anal or rectal surgery, tears in the lining of the anus (anal fissures), hemorrhoids, and weight loss.
Rheum emodi - used as a diuretic, liver stimulant, purgative/cathartic, stomachic, anticholesterolaemic, antitumor, antiseptic, and tonic.
Cassia fistula - inflammatory swellings and as a cleaning agent for ulcers and wounds. It is believed to decrease purulent discharge and act as a local antiseptic. The fruits are also used as a laxative.

Anti-inflammatory - reduces: - inflammation, pain, heat, and loss of function of the intestinal tract
Digestive - softens wastes in the intestinal tract
Laxative - stimulates evacuation of the bowel without strain
Vermifuge - expels intestinal parasites

DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;
Take 5 to 10ml of the syrup once a day after the evening meal and before retiring to bed or as directed by the physician. Please keep in mind that it is always prudent to consult your physician for the correct dosage that is suitable for your current condition.
