Role of Ingredients;
Rauwolfia Serpentina - Sarpagandha -Reserpine is used to treat high blood pressure. It also is used to treat severe agitation in patients with mental disorders. Reserpine is in a class of medications called rauwolfia alkaloids. It works by slowing the activity of the nervous system, causing the heart rate to slow and the blood vessels to dilate
Acorus calamus -Vacha -The root (rhizome) is used to make medicine. Despite safety concerns, calamus is used for gastrointestinal (GI) problems including ulcers, inflammation of the stomach lining (gastritis), intestinal gas (flatulence), upset stomach, and loss of appetite (anorexia)
Inula racemosa -Pushkaramoolam -is an aromatic tonic, febrifuge, and expectorant with anti-inflammatory, carminative, diuretic, and antiseptic properties. The plant is used in chronic bronchitis and rheumatism. Dried rhizomes and roots are used to cure loss of appetite and stomach troubles.
Vetivera zizanioides - Usira -used as a cooling agent, tonic, and blood purifier. It is used to treat many skin disorders and is known to have a calming effect on the nervous system. Other medicinal uses of Khas Khas include ringworm, indigestion, and loss of appetite.
Berberis aristata-Daruharidra -is an antibacterial, antiperiodic, antidiarrheal and anticancer and it is also used in the treatment of ophthalmic infections. Its root, stem, and leaves also find their use in the treatment of various ailments and hence is used extensively in Ayurveda.

Indications:
It is used to treat Hypertension.
It is useful for maintaining blood pressure.
It is used for maintaining blood cholesterol
Dosage and Adjuvants;
Mild to moderate hypertension - 1 tablet once or twice daily
Severe Hypertension - 2 tablets twice daily
As maintenance - 1 tablet once daily.
