KANKAYAN VATI;

Kankayan Vati (also called Kankayan Gutika) is a best alternative medicine for non-bleeding piles. It reduces the size of the haemorrhoidal mass and relieves constipation. It improves appetite and digestion. It reduces Kapha Dosha, pacifies Vata Dosha, and increases Pitta Dosha. Therefore, it is the best medicine when you have itching, discomfort, constipation, white coating on tongue, loss of appetite, and poor digestive capacity. It also improves liver functions and increases the flow of bile, which helps to relieve constipation too. In addition, it is also beneficial for treating bloating, gas, intestinal worm, and feeling of abdominal lumps.

ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;

Zingeber officinals - is one of the most widely used natural products consumed as a spice and medicine for treating nausea, dysentery, heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea, loss of appetite, infections, cough, and bronchitis.

Inula racemosa - is an aromatic tonic, febrifuge, and expectorant with anti-inflammatory, carminative, diuretic, and antiseptic properties. The plant is used in chronic bronchitis and rheumatism. Dried rhizomes and roots are used to cure loss of appetite and stomach troubles.

Hedychium spicatum - is widely used in treating inflammation, pain, asthma, foul breath, vomiting, diarrhoea, bronchitis, hiccough and blood diseases. This study systematically reviewed traditional and folk uses, pharmacological properties, bioactive compounds and market potential of H. spicatum

Baliospermum montanum - is used in constipation, abdominal pain, general anasarca, piles, calculus, helminthic infections, scabies, dermic affections, suppurative ulcers and diseases caused by the morbidity of kapha and pitta. Root paste is applied to painful piles and swellings.

Plumbago zeylanica - used in the treatment of stubborn chronic rheumatoid arthritis, skin diseases and tumerous growths as recommended by Ayurveda. It also finds its use in correcting chronic menstrual disorders, viral warts and chronic diseases of nervous system.

Acorus calamus -  is also used as a calming medicine (sedative), to induce sweating, and to treat rheumatoid arthritis and stroke. Some people chew calamus to remove the smell of tobacco, as a stimulant, to increase their sense of well-being, and as a hallucinogen.

Cajanus indicus - are used in food poisoning, as colic and in constipation. [14] In Chinese folk medicine pigeon pea leaves are used to staunch blood, as an analgesic and to kill parasites.

Operculina turpethum - are used to treat skin disorders and a variety of illnesses like obesity, tumours, herpes, fever and bronchitis. A fine paste of turmeric and trivrit can be applied for chronic ulcers and wounds. It is also used in chronic skin oozing problems.

Ferula asfoetia - is used in modern herbalism in the treatment of hysteria, some nervous conditions, bronchitis, asthma and whooping cough. It was at one time employed in the treatment of infantile pneumonia and flatulent colic. The gum resin is antispasmodic, carminative, expectorant, laxative, and sedative.

Trachyspermum ammi - stimulant, antispasmodic and carminative properties and is used traditionally as an important remedial agent for flatulence, atonic dyspepsia, diarrhea, abdominal tumors, abdominal pains, piles, and bronchial problems, lack of appetite, galactogogue, asthma and amenorrhoea.

Cuminum cyminum - are widely used as the spice for their distinctive aroma, they are also commonly used in traditional medicine to treat a variety of diseases, including chronic diarrhoea and dyspepsia, acute gastritis, diabetes, and cancer.

Piper nigrum - also has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anticonvulsant, and neuroprotective effects.

Coriandrum sativam - is used for a long-term disorder of the large intestines that causes stomach pain (irritable bowel syndrome or IBS), constipation, diarrhea, gas (flatulence), nausea, athlete's foot (Tinea pedis), and many other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these uses.

Apium leptophyllum - used as an antinephritic, antirheumatic, carminative and was beneficial for prevention of tumor, anorexia, vomiting, colic pain, and mitch. [6] The volatile oil of the leaves possesses antimicrobial and radical scavenging activity.

INDICATIONS;

This medicine is used in the management of arsha (Piles).

It shows beneficial effect in both dry and bleeding piles. The intake of Kankayan Vati (Arsh) improves digestive power and cures constipation. It reduces pressure and size of piles mass. Regular use of this medicine for many months gives relief in piles.

DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;

Take 1-2 tablets 1-2 times a day after food or as directed by the physician

SAFETY INFORMATION;

People with Pitta body type or people with high Pitta condition (excess body heat, burning sensation etc), may experience worsening of Pitta symptoms with this medicine.

Over-dosage may cause slight burning sensation in the abdomen.

It is better to avoid this tablet during pregnancy, lactation and in children.

Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Store in cool dry place.
