NILAVAAGAI CHOORANUM MATHIRAI;

Nilavaagai Chooranum is a classical Siddha medicine it is used to treat GI tract disorders. Nilavagai Chooranam is a traditional natural medicine prepared by Nilavarai leaves and some herbal ingredients. Nilavarai contains a powerful laxative effect, so it helps to relieve constipation, which affects 16 to 33% of adults. The FDA has approved that Nilavarai is the short-term treatment for constipation. It is also known as Senna, and it contains compounds sennosides that stimulate the muscle contractions in the intestines. Nilavagai Chooranam is mainly used to cure Intestinal worm infestation for children and adults.

ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;

Cassia senna - is used to treat constipation and also to clear the bowel before diagnostic tests such as colonoscopy. Senna is also used for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), anal or rectal surgery, tears in the lining of the anus (anal fissures), hemorrhoids, and weight loss.

Zingiber officinale -commonly known as ginger, is a spice consumed worldwide for culinary and medicinal purposes. The plant has a number of chemicals responsible for its medicinal properties, such as antiarthritis, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, antibacterial, antifungal, anticancer, etc.

Piper nigrum -''Piperine''exhibits diverse pharmacological activities like antihypertensive, antiplatelet, antioxidant, antitumor, anti-asthmatics, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-diarrheal, antispasmodic, antidepressants, immunomodulatory, anticonvulsant, anti-thyroids, antibacterial.

Embellia ribes -is used as antibacterial, antifertility activities, antiprotozoal, abdominal disorders, lung diseases, constipation, indigestion, fungus infections, mouth ulcer, sore throat, pneumonia, heart disease and obesity, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant 

Carum copticim - fatigue, diarrhea, abdominal tumors, abdominal pain, respiratory distress, and loss of appetite. It has other health benefits such as antifungal, antioxidant, antibacterial, antiparasitic, and hypolipidemic effects.

Saccharum officinarum -in the treatment of jaundice, hemorrhage, dysuria, anuria, and other urinary diseases.

DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;

Take 2 -4 tablets twice or thrice a day before food with warm water,or as directed by the physician.

There are no recorded side effects in this medicine, but overdose may cause loose motion.
